About Nancy Charron:
Dr. Nancy Charron has worked as a general education teacher, a special education teacher, a reading specialist, and a principal designee at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Currently an Assistant Professor at Southern New Hampshire University, she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and Deaf Education at the University of Michigan, a Master of Education in Teaching Reading from Western Michigan University, and a Doctorate in Language Arts and Literacy from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Charron is passionate about working with prospective teachers. Her professional interests include teaching reading as well as working with special needs students and second language learners.
